This 1960s home was a 4,000-square-foot time capsule. It was one of the biggest challenges our team has ever faced; we had to tear everything down to the exterior walls and foundation to begin from scratch.
The interior and exterior of the home underwent similarly dramatic transformations. The homeowners were extremely collaborative and worked closely with our team to make design decisions. In living areas, you’ll find soaring, bright ceilings where there was once a flat roof. We designed a special truss system to allow for 16-foot ceilings without support beams – the homeowners wanted a completely open space.
This bright, contemporary home is elevated by the balance of modern and classic design choices. The massive white quartz waterfall island and matching hood bring elegance and luxury to the kitchen. On the other hand, the custom wooden herringbone fireplaces, antique cast iron bathtub, and farmhouse oak floors add a touch of vintage charm to the home.
